MN Sales Tax Change - Instructions

The Sales and Use Tax rate for Minnesota will increase to 6.875% beginning July 1,2009.

We have provided supporting documentation and illustrations for you to make the change within your POS System. Please be advised that tax rates listed in the screen shots are for illustration purposes only and do NOT represent the appropriate tax rate for your state, city, or county. You will be responsible for all tax rates entered into your POS system.

PLEASE NOTE: Any illustrations are meant for instructional purpose only and do not depict the exact tax rate percentages you may need. Please confirm the correct tax rate needed with your own documentation.

We strongly recommend that once any changes have been made to verify that those changes took effect as needed by reviewing and monitoring system reports.
